This magnificent blue aventurine quartz sphere was precision ground and finished with a superb polish in the U.S.A. from lapidary rough that was mined in Brazil. This beautiful material has a light grayish-blue matrix with intense blue lines that form interesting patterns. The natural blue color is from microscopic grains of blue dumortierite within the quartzite matrix. This is truly a spectacular collector or decorator piece.
